Patna: In the first match of Cooch Behar Trophy played at Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna, Bihar team lost to Bengal by an innings by 97 runs. In this match, Bihar had invited Bengal to bat after winning the toss. In the first innings, Bengal team declared the innings after scoring 466 runs at the loss of six wickets.
Bihar team was all out after scoring 277 runs in the first innings. While forced to follow on, Bihar team was all out after scoring 92 runs in the second innings. In the second innings for Bihar, Satyam Kumar scored 20 runs, Rahul Ratan scored 15 runs, Vivek Yatharth scored 13 runs, Anoop Kumar scored 10 runs, Agastya scored 9 runs, Prashant Kumar scored 5 runs and Deepesh Gupta scored 4 runs.
For Bengal, Mahipal took 4 wickets, Priyanshu took 3, Yudhjeet took 2 and Vishal took one wicket. Bihar’s next match is against Gujarat in Valsad from November 24.
