Patna: Under the aegis of Softball Association of Bihar, 21st Sub-Junior Boys-Girls Softball Championship is going to be organized at Sonepur (Saran). This information was given by the president of the association, Gautam Kanodia.
Association’s Joint Secretary Rupak Kumar said that this championship will be held from September 8 to 10 in collaboration with Bihar State Sports Authority. Teams from 18 districts of Bihar will participate in tournament. All the matches of the championship will be conducted under the supervision of the referee and umpire provided by the association.
At the same time, vice president Sanjay Kumar said that the winner and runner-up teams will be given individual prizes along with attractive trophies. On the basis of performance in this championship, the Bihar team will be selected for the upcoming Sub-Junior Boys-Girls National Championship.
Uday Kumar Yadav, Secretary of Saran has been entrusted with the responsibility to successfully organise the championship. Softball Association of Bihar has formed a three-member committee for this event. The members of the commitee are Rampravesh (Vaishali), Vipin Kumar (Bhojpur) and Ajay Patel (Khagadia).
