Patna: Under the auspices of Bihar Ball Badminton Association and by Vaishali District Ball Badminton Association, the 30th Bihar State Senior Ball Badminton Championship (Men and Women) will be organised from December 21 to 23 at Kushwaha Ashram, SDO Road, Hajipur (Vaishali).
Giving this information, Bihar Ball Badminton Association Secretary Gouri Shankar said that to make the Senior State Championship successful, preparations have been started under the supervision of social worker Krishna Bhagwan Soni and Vaishali District Ball Badminton Association Secretary Ravi Ranjan Kumar.
Teams from all districts and institutions recognized by the state association will be allowed to play in the championship. Instructions have been given to send advance information for participation in the championship by December 18. The state championship will be played as per national rules on a league-cum-knockout basis. Shankar also informed that on the basis of the performance in the State Senior Ball Badminton Championship, the Bihar men’s and women’s ball badminton teams will be selected for the 69th National Senior Ball Badminton Championship to be held in Gadchiroli (Maharashtra) from January 6 to 10.
