Patna: In the first match of the boys’ pool ‘C’ of the 41st Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship being played at Mancherial (Telangana), Bihar started their campign on winning note defeating Karnataka in two consecutive sets 35-29, 35-21.
In the first match of Pool ‘A’ of the girls’ section, Bihar started the victory campaign by easily defeating Madhya Pradesh in two consecutive sets by 35-0,35-2.
Giving this information, Gouri Shankar, secretary of Bihar Ball Badminton Association, said that Bihar captain Shashank Kumar, Chhotu Kumar, Ajit Kumar, Pawan Gond and Aftab Alam played well in the boys category and Kajal Kumari, Muskaan Kumari, Deepali Kumari, Khushi Kumari performed brilliantly in the in the girls’ category.
