Patna: Bihar shooters delivered an outstanding performance at the 8th East Zone Shooting Championship held in Asansol, claiming a total of 20 medals, including 9 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze.

Key performances included:

• Preeti Kumari, who secured gold in the 50m Free Pistol Women event.
• Divya Jha, who won silver in the 25m Sports Pistol Junior category.
• Simi Kumari, who earned bronze in the 10m Air Pistol Women, along with silver medals in both the Youth and Sub Youth categories.
