Patna: At the end of the third day of the Cooch Behar Trophy match between Bihar and Andhra Pradesh being played at Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna, Bihar scored 117 runs for four wickets. Still, Bihar were 175 runs behind Andhra’s first innings score of 292 runs.
Earlier, Andhra Pradesh scored 292 runs in the first innings with the help of Mohammed Taufiq’s brilliant century of 126 runs, Lohith Lakshmi’s 49 runs, Harsh Veera Reddy’s 41 runs and Sain Shravan’s 35 runs.
For Bihar, Satyam Kumar took five wickets, Anoop Kumar took three wickets and Vaibhav Suryavanshi took two wickets.
Bihar, which came to bat in the first innings, had lost the wickets of Vaibhav Suryavanshi for 35 runs, Alam for 11 runs, Chandan Kumar for four runs and Prashant Kumar for six runs at the end of the third day’s play. Captain Animesh Kumar was unbeaten at the crease after scoring 57 runs and Akash Verma was unbeaten on two runs. For Andhra, Hemant Kumar and Sujith Reddy took two wickets each.
