Patna: In the third quarter-final match of the 70th Senior National Women’s Ball Badminton Championship, being held in Raigarh, Maharashtra, Bihar triumphed over Andhra Pradesh with scores of 35-27, 30-35, and 35-28, securing their place in the semi-finals.
Gauri Shankar, Secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association, shared this update, highlighting the outstanding performances of Captain Priya Singh, Vandana Kumari, Poonam Kumari, Kavita Kumari, and Yukta Rani, who played pivotal roles in Bihar’s victory.
Bihar will now face Tamil Nadu in the semi-finals, promising an intense battle ahead in the championship.
