Patna: Under the auspices of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association, the Saharsa District Ball Badminton Association will organise the 30th Bihar State Junior Ball Badminton Championship (boys and girls) from November 24 to November 26 at Sahuriya East (Saur Bazar), Saharsa.
Preparations are being done in full swing under the supervision of Saharsa District Ball Badminton Association president Dhirendra Yadav, Saharsa district association secretary Anshu Kumar Mishra, treasurer Dheeraj Samrat.
The date of birth of boys and girls players participating in the championship should be on or after 02-01-2004. It will be mandatory for all players to bring the original and photocopy of Aadhaar card, as well as two passport-size photographs.
Giving this information, Bihar Ball Badminton Association secretary Gouri Shankar said that on the basis of their performance in the championship, 20 boys and 20 girls will be selected for the training camp of Bihar Ball Badminton team. The players finally selected for the Bihar team will participate in the 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship (boys and girls) to be held in Patna. A five-member selection committee has been formed for the selection of the Bihar team under the chairmanship of Ranjan Kumar Gupta. The members of the committee are Rahul Kumar, Deepak Prakash Ranjan, Badal Kumar, Neha Rani.
