Patna: Bihar, Jharkhand, Goa, Karnataka, the Sports Authority of India, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Punjab, and Chhattisgarh had officially qualified for the pre-quarterfinals of the 33rd National Sub Junior Kabaddi Championship being played at GD Goenka School in Motihari.
Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay said that the semi-final and final matches of this championship will be played on March 19. It is worth mentioning that Arjun Award winner and current Indian Kabaddi captain Pavan Serawat will be the chief guest in the final match. All the teams participating in this championship have given their best performance, and we appreciate their performance.
On the other hand, in today’s pre-quarterfinal matches, Bihar defeated Jharkhand by 48-11, Goa defeated Karnataka by 48-35, and entered the quarterfinals. A total of eight pre-quarter matches are to be held today.
The secretary of the East Champaran District Kabaddi Association, Bhanu Prakash, said that all the matches have become very interesting since the pre-quarterfinals, and all the teams are giving their best performances to enter the next round. Meanwhile, the President of the East Champaran District Kabaddi Association, Amit Kumar, inspected the accommodation of the participants late last night and told officials to provide the best arrangements.
