Patna: Bihar girls won a bronze medal in the Federation Cup Junior Boys and Girls Kabaddi Championships held in Madurai Tamil Nadu) from January 1 to 3.
Bihar girls defeated Chandigarh, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu to enter the semi-finals of the Federation Cup. In the semi-final, Bihar lost to Haryana after putting up brave fight.
In the league matches, Bihar defeated Chandigarh 43-13, Maharashtra 53-40 and Tamil Nadu 19-15 to enter the semi-finals.
Indu Kumari, team captain Riya, Nancy Priya, Shruti and Aarti showed excellent performance for Bihar in the entire tournament.
