Gorakhpur: Bihar won one silver and three bronze medals in the East Zone Inter State Badminton Championships held in Gorakhpur from September 8 to September 11.
According to KN Jaiswal, secretary general of Bihar Badminton Association, Saloni Kumari of Bihar won a silver medal in the junior girls’ singles event. She lost in the final on Sunday. Md. Tabrez won a bronze medal (3rd place) in the men’s singles. The Bihar pair of Ambuj and Vibha claimed a bronze medal (3rd place) in mixed doubles seniors.
