Patna: In the 38th National Senior Kyorugi and 11th National Senior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships held in Puducherry under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India, Bihar won a total of three medals including one gold and two bronze medals.
Giving this information, Joint Secretary of Bihar Taekwondo Association, Samta Rahi said that Rekha Kumari won gold medal in women’s under-40 age group of Poomsae category. Dharamyug Kumar claimed bronze medal in men’s under-40 age group of Poomsae, while Saurabh Lal got bronze medal in men’s under-63 kg weight category in Kyorugi category.
President of Bihar Taekwondo Association Shashi Bala Bhadani, General Secretary Rajesh Kumar Sahu, Vice Presidents Virendra Kumar, Arun Kumar, Joint Secretary Nandu Kumar and Treasurer Manish Chandra Rai congratulated the players and supporting staff for their achievement.
