Patna: Bihar entered the final of Sub Junior Boys National Football Championship Tier-2. Bihar defeated Assam 2-1 in the semi-final. By reaching the finals, Bihar qualified to play in Tier-1 in the next season.
In this match played in Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), Bihar had the upper hand from the beginning. Rajkaran of Bihar scored two goals in the first half. The first goal was scored in the 7th minute of the game and the second goal was scored seven minutes later i.e. in the 14th minute.
After this the Assam players changed their strategy and came into defensive mode. In the 43rd minute of the game, Sanu Kathar reduced the goal difference but ultimately Bihar won the match 2-1.
