Bihar boys enter semi-finals of the 32nd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi

Patna: Bihar boys’ team defeated Karnataka 46-25 in the quarter-finals to enter the semi-finals of the 32nd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship being held at MGM Higher Secondary School ground in Bokaro (Jharkhand).

Bihar will face Maharashtra in the semi-finals. With this, Bihar boys’ team has confirmed a medal at least a bronze for the state.

In the boys’ pre-quarterfinals, Bihar defeated Vidarbha 66-37 to enter the quarterfinals. In Pool H of the boys’ section, the Bihar team had won all the matches of their group. In the league match of Pool H, Bihar defeated UP, Manipur and BAKA.

In the girls’ category, Bihar’s team has been eliminated after losing to Tamil Nadu in the pre-quarterfinals. Tamil Nadu defeated Bihar 36-30.

Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay congratulated the Bihar team players and coach Bhavesh Kumar on this achievement and wished them victory in the semi-final match.
