Patna: Bihar boys won the team championships title of the 25th Sub Junior National Sepak Takraw Championships held Belgaum, Karnataka from October 3 to October 7.
Bihar boys defeated Nagaland 2-0 in the quarter-finals, Delhi 2-1 in the semi-finals and Manipur 2-1 in the final to emerge national champion.
Bijay Kumar Sharma, secretary of All Bihar Sepak Takraw Association expressed his special gratitude to director general of Bihar State Sports Authority Raveendran Sankaran, and Pankaj Raj, director-cum-Secretary, Bihar State Sports Authority for raising the morale of the players by providing all facilities to them. He also congratulated all the players, coaches for this achievement.
