Bihar batters fail miserably against Madhya Pradesh in CK Nayudu Trophy

Patna: In the first match of the CK Nayudu U-23 tournament at The Dali College Indore ground, Bihar were all out after scoring 90 runs against Madhya Pradesh. In this match, Madhya Pradesh won the toss and invited Bihar to bat. At the end of the first day’s play, Madhya Pradesh were 21 runs for one wicket.

For Bihar, Harsh Raj Puru scored 6 runs, Pratik Vats, Mayank Kumar and Aditya Anand returned to pavilion without opening their accounts. Ankit Raj scored 4 runs, Ayush Loharika scored 12 runs, Ayush Anand scored 16 runs, Suraj Kashyap scored 8 runs, K Aryan Mohit scored 17 runs and Anuj Raj scored 20 runs. Aryan Pandey of Madhya Pradesh took 6 wickets and Ishan Afridi, Aryan Deshmukh and Adhir Pratap Singh took one wicket each.

Madhya Pradesh’s first innings did not start well, in the very first over, Bihar’s Anuj Raj gave the first blow by dismissing Mohd Arham on zero. Till the end of the first day’s play, Madhya Pradesh’s Sumit was unbeaten on 3 runs and Aman Singh was unbeaten on 17 runs.
