Patna: Bihar secured a place in the semi-finals by defeating Maharashtra 35-29, 35-32 in the boys’ quarter-final of the 43rd Sub Junior National Ball Badminton Championship, currently being held in Rohtak, Haryana.
Sharing this information, Gauri Shankar, Secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association, stated that Bihar will face Andhra Pradesh in the boys’ semi-final. Saurav, Gaurav, Lalan, Naitik, and Anshu delivered commendable performances for Bihar in the quarter-final match.
In the girls’ category, despite a valiant effort, Bihar was narrowly defeated by Kerala with scores of 31-35, 35-29, 35-32.
