Patna: Patna Warriors thrashed Danapur United 7-0 in the Rajkumar Mahaseth Patna District Senior Division Football League being played under the auspices of Patna Football Association. T Abhay Meti of Patna Warriors scored a hat-trick. The match played between Rainbow and New Boys ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the 27th minute of the game, Vikas Kumar of New Boys Bakhtiyarpur scored a goal to give his team a 1-0 lead. This lead of Bakhtiyarpur ended within 11 minutes. Vineet Raj of Rainbow FC scored a goal to level the match at 1-1 which remained till the end. Rainbow FC’s Sumit Raj and Sumit Kumar were shown yellow cards. Mohammad Omar, a former state player, awarded Vikas Kumar of New Boys Bakhtiyarpur Player of the Match.

After this, T Abhay Meti completed his hat-trick by scoring goals in the 7th, 9th and 31st minutes. After this, L Dhananjay Singh, A Ashrafi scored in the 56th minute and E Vikas Singh scored in the 76th minute to give Patna Warriors a 7-0 victory.
Danapur did not score a goal but its player Sunny Kumar was shown a yellow card. The referees of the match were Arun Hansda, Sunil Kumar, Harendra Yadav and Samant Kumar.
