Bettiah: Bharat Cricket Club and Dynamic Club won their respective matches in the West Champaran A Division Cricket League being played under the aegis of West Champaran District Cricket Association.
The captain of the Service Club won the toss and decided to bowl first. Both the opening batsmen of the Bharat Cricket Club could not do anything special. In the middle order, Diwakar Nitesh Sandeep contributed 25 runs, Jitendra contributed 13 runs. The target of 152 runs was given with the help of 32 extras. For Service Club, Aurangzeb took two wickets, Harshit took four and Pawan Singh took one wicket.
In reply, the Service Club team was all out for 134 runs. Abhijeet scored 30, Jeevan scored 12, Harshit scored 17 not out and Aurangzeb scored 17 runs. On behalf of the Bharat Cricket Club Diwakar took three wickets and Jitendra took two wickets. Three players were run out.
Dynamic Cricket Club Bettiah vs Vidyarthi Cricket Club
Vidyarthi’s captain won the toss and decided to bat first and the entire team was all out for 90 runs. Mohammad Ikram scored 37 runs. Dynamic bowlers bowled brilliantly. Ghiyasuddin took five wickets for 26 runs. Kundan took two wickets, Ayush took two wickets.
In reply, Dynamic Club achieved the target by losing three wickets. On behalf of Vidyarthi Cricket Club, Jasdeep took one wicket and Aditya Kumar took two wickets. Tomorrow’s match will be between Abhimanyu Cricket Club Bettiah and Modern Cricket Club and Parsauni Cricket Club vs Rainbow.
