Bhagalpur: Encouraged by success of moon mission of India Chandrayaan-3, an official of electricity department here has ensured his place among few having purchased land on moon.
Ravindra Kumar, posted as ADO in Bhagalpur electricity circle, optimistic there would be human habitation on moon someday with advancement of space science of country, has purchased two acres of land on moon.
He has purchased lunar land in name of his wife, daughter and himself. Kumar claims to have purchased the land from a lunar land registry site spending 24-euro dollars.
Purchase of lunar land by some cine stars besides his self-motivation led him decide about purchasing land on moon, he says. Though there is no clarity yet about legal standing concerning ownership of lunar land however Kumar is highly hopeful he would definitely step on moon and visit his land in his lifetime.
