Patna: In the one-day invitation cup ball badminton match organised by the Bihar Ball Badminton Association and Samastipur District Ball Badminton Association, Begusarai emerged victorious over Samastipur with scores of 35-20 and 35-18. The match was held at the grounds of Buniyadi Vidyalaya Nazipur in Samastipur.
Key players for Begusarai included Shashank Kumar, Aryan Kumar, and Manish Kumar, while Ankit Kumar, Lalan Kumar, and Chhotu Kumar displayed commendable performances for Samastipur.
Following the match, the prize distribution ceremony was conducted jointly by Ajay Kumar, Principal of Buniyadi Vidyalaya Nazipur, the school’s chairman Devan Singh, and Avinash Kumar Chaudhary. Vinod Kumar, Secretary of the Samastipur District Ball Badminton Association, welcomed the guests. The match was officiated by national referee Vikas Kumar.
