Patna: On the second day of the BCA Senior Inter District Super League, Begusarai took 95 runs first innings lead against Rest of Mithila Zone . Central Zone took a 49-run lead over Angika Zone in Purnia. Magadh zone also strengthened its position in Patna.
Begusarai scored 275 runs in Birpur (Supaul). Murari contributed 63 runs. Krishna took 3 wickets. Mithila scored 90 for 4 wickets in their second innings. At the Moinul Haq Stadium, the bowlers of Rest of Magadh Zone prevented Bhagalpur from scoring big and Bhagalpur were all out 154 runs in 41.1 overs in the first innings. Magadh Zone scored 210 runs in the second innings to take a solid lead of 453 runs.
Kumar Shrey was unbeaten on 26 and Himanshu on 4 runs. Bhagalpur scored 154 runs on the second day. Suryavansh scored 44 runs. Magadh’s Pramod took 3 wickets. Abhishek of Bhagalpur took 4 wickets. Angika Zone scored 173 at the Green Valley Ground. Thus Central Zone took a 49-run lead. Suman took 5 wickets. Central Zone scored 169 runs losing 4 wickets in the second innings.
Kaimur beat Aurangabad Randhir Verma U-19 cricket
Patna: In the Randhir Verma Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Championship, Kaimur registered their third win by defeating Aurangabad by 19 runs at the Jagjivan Stadium in Shahabad. Kaimur scored 252 runs. Harshraj scored 79, Anubhav Singh scored 65 runs. Ankush Agarwal took 6 wickets.
In reply Aurangabad were all out for 233 runs in 39.3 overs. In another match, Bhagalpur defeated Munger by 2 wickets.
