Patna: Bata CC defeated Alliance CC by 6 wickets in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League on the basis of Ayush Anand’s brilliant half-century (66 not out, 71 balls, 8 fours, 2 sixes) and Shivam Kumar’s excellent bowling (4 wickets) at the Gennex Cricket Academy ground on Monday.
Alliance CC won the toss and batting first scored 127 runs losing all wickets in 31.2 overs with the help of Prasun’s 52 runs. Shivam Kumar took 4 and Nitish Kumar took 2 wickets for Bata CC.
In reply, Bata CC won the match by scoring 131 runs for 4 wickets in 23.3 overs. Ayush Anand scored unbeaten 66 runs in 71 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes. Satyam Kumar Jha scored 38 runs. Chitransh took 3 wickets for Alliance CC. Shivam Kumar of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match.
