Patna: Basawan Park Cricket Academy and Lakshya Cricket Academy won their respective matches played on Sunday in the 4th Nanhak Mahto Memorial Under-15 Inter School Cricket Tournament at Krishna Cricket Ground. Basawan Park Cricket Academy defeated AK Cricket Academy by 5 wickets while Lakshya Cricket Academy defeated State Coaching Center by 5 wickets.
In the first match, Basawan Park Cricket Academy won the toss and invited AK Cricket Academy to bat. AK Cricket Academy, batting first, scored 216 runs for 6 wickets in 25 overs with the help of half-centuries from Aditya (68 runs) and Shubham (57 runs). Mohit Jha took 3 wickets for Basawan Park Cricket Academy.
In reply, Basawan Park Cricket Academy won the match by scoring 220 runs for 5 wickets in 23.2 overs with the help of Aditya Raj’s 102 runs. Sumit and Ayush took two wickets each for AK Cricket Academy. Aditya Raj of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award by Sardar Patel Sports Foundation General Secretary Naveen Kumar.
In the second match, State Coaching Center won the toss and batting first scored 189 runs for 6 wickets in 22 overs. Lakshya scored 56 runs. Roshan and Anirudh took 2wickets each for Lakshya Cricket Academy.
In reply, Lakshya Cricket Academy won the match by scoring 191 runs for 5 wickets in 20.1 overs. Anirudh scored 76 and Shambhu scored 46 runs. Rahul Rathore took two wickets. Anirudh Raj (76 runs, 2 wickets) of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award.
