Patna: Basawan Park Cricket Academy won the title of the Sushil Kumar Modi Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament being held at the Shakha ground. In a thrilling final, Basawan Park Cricket Academy defeated YCC Black by 2 runs. Aditya Raj, who scored a century (111 runs), was awarded the Player of the Match award.
Basawan Park Cricket Academy won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 171 runs for 6 wickets in 25 overs. In reply, YCC Black were all out for 169 runs in 23.3 overs.
The players were awarded by Patna Municipal Corporation’s Deputy Mayor Reshmi Chandravanshi, Ward Councilor Rajni Sinha, former Ranji player Ashish Sinha, social worker Ranjit Singh, and Anjani Sinha. Joint convenor Rahul Kumar welcomed the guests and he also proposed a vote of thanks.
