Patna: Baddi Fighters and Manav Rachna Lions won the match played on Wednesday i.e. April 3 under the Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season-4 being held under the aegis of Turning Point. Baddi Fighters beat Biher’s Knight Riders by 9 wickets while Manav Rachna Lions beat RIT Champions by 19 runs.
In the first match, Biher Knight Riders won the toss and were all out after scoring 62 runs in just 12 overs. In reply, Baddi Fighters won the match by scoring 66 runs for 1 wicket in 7 overs. Manjeet Kumar, who scored 35 runs and took two wickets for the winning team, was given the Player of the Match award by Ronit Narayan, Director of VTech Computer Education.
In the second match, Manav Rachna Lions won the toss and batted first and scored 223 runs for five wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Himanshu Raj’s 175 runs. In reply, RIT Champions team, despite excellent batting by Abhinav Sinha (55 runs) and Rajeev Kumar (49 runs), could only score 204 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 19 runs. Himanshu Raj was declared player of the match.
