  • FIR registered against three for threatening the victim

At 10 o’clock, the Food Department team conducted a raid at the bakery, known as A-One, collecting five food samples and sealing the premises. Assistant Commissioner of Food Safety Administration, Manik Chandra Singh, indicated that additional measures will be taken based on the results of the sample investigation.

In connection with the threats made to the victim of the gang rape case in Bhadarsa, Ayodhya, the police have filed an FIR against three individuals based on a complaint from the victim’s family.

According to reports, three people, including Bhadarsa Nagar Panchayat Chairman Mohammad Rashid and SP leader Jai Singh Rana, arrived at the women’s hospital around 11 p.m. The family claims that they initially pressured them to settle the matter. When the family refused, the individuals threatened to kill them.

In the FIR filed by Ram Sevak Das, a resident of Pipri village, various sections of the Indian Penal Code have been invoked, alleging that these individuals came to the hospital with the intent to harm the victim.

Minister Sanjay Nishad meets the victim

On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad visited the Ayodhya District Women’s Hospital to meet the minor gangrape victim and assured her of full security and strict action against the accused.

While talking to journalists, Sanjay Nishad said, “Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA is a lie. It appears he won with the support of these criminals, which is why he is protecting them and staying silent on the matter. I have raised my voice for the victim in the House. Until the accused are brought to justice, we will continue to fight for the victim and protest in front of the SP office.”

He mentioned that Moeed Khan is the nagar president of the Samajwadi Party (SP) in Bhadarsa and is closely associated with SP MP Avdhesh Prasad. “Moeed Khan owns multiple properties in Bhadarsa, including a bakery on the main road. A bank is also operating in one of his houses. Additionally, he has rented out several shops. Notably, the police post where the victim’s mother attempted to file a complaint was also located in one of Moeed Khan’s properties”, he stated.

Mayawati commends Yogi government’s action, questions Akhilesh Yadav’s demand for DNA test

The national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and former Chief Minister, Mayawati, has expressed support for the Yogi government’s actions in the Ayodhya gangrape case involving a minor. She has also questioned Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav’s call for a DNA test of the accused, asking the SP to clarify how many such tests were conducted during their tenure.

Mayawati posted on the social media platform X, “The strict action being taken by the UP government against the accused in the Ayodhya gangrape case is justified. However, it is important to question the SP’s call for a DNA test of the accused. The SP should also clarify how many DNA tests were conducted on similar accused during their time in office.”

In a separate post on the same issue, Mayawati described the incident as both “sad and a matter of concern”.
