Bihar Sharif, May 3: In the Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Super League being played under the aegis of Bihar Cricket Association, the match played between Vaishali and Aurangabad in Pool C ended in a draw but on the basis of first innings lead, Aurangabad got 3 points while Vaishali got 1 point.
Aurangabad lost all the wickets in its first innings and scored 198 runs while in the second innings it scored 318 runs for 9 wickets. Vaishali scored 133 runs in its first innings losing all the wickets while in the second innings it scored 163 runs for 3 wickets in 24 overs.
On the second day of the ongoing match at Nalanda Cricket Ground, Ekangardih in Nalanda district, Vaishali started the first day ahead at 127 runs for nine wickets and the entire team was all out for 133 runs.
In its second innings, Aurangabad scored 318 runs in 61.5 overs with the help of half-centuries from Ayush Raj (83) and Sonal Singh Rajput (57 runs) and declared the innings.
Vaishali got the target of 384 runs to win, in response to which it scored 163 runs for 3 wickets in 24 overs by the end of the second day’s play. In the second innings, Abhishek Anand scored 61 runs and Nand Kishore scored 40 unbeaten runs for Vaishali.
