Patna: Ashish Kumar of ERCC scored an unbeaten double century (200 runs not out) while Rohit Raj (144) and Aditya (101 runs not out) scored centuries as ERCC piled up 457 runs for the loss of one wicket. Later, Priyanshu Kumar took 6 wickets as ERCC defeated BPHCL by a huge margin of 285 runs in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League here on Saturday.
At 22 Yard Cricket Academy Ground, ERCC won the toss and scored a huge score of 457 runs for 1 wicket in the stipulated 35 overs. Rohit Raj scored 144 runs in 64 balls with the help of 13 fours and 11 sixes, Ashish Kumar scored an unbeaten 200 runs in 110 balls with the help of 13 fours and 16 sixes and Aditya Kumar scored an unbeaten 101 runs in 38 balls with the help of 6 fours and 11 sixes. Rahul Kumar took 1 wicket from BPHCL.
In reply, BPHCL were all out for 172 runs in 25.4 overs. Siddhant Vijay scored 21, Abhilash Kumar scored 30, Yashasvi Shukla scored 33, Anmol Anand scored 17, Mukesh Kumar Sharma scored 28 amd Rahul Kumar scored 26 runs.
For ERCC, Priyanshu Kumar took 6 wickets, Abhinav Singh bagged 2 wicket while Bunty Kumar and Ashish Kumar took 1 wicket each. Ashish Kumar of the winning team was declared the Player of the Match.
