Patna: Md Asadulla of Munger won the boys U1-3 singles title of the Bihar State Sub Junior U-13/U-15 Boys and Girls Badminton Championship defeating his double partner Kavya Kashyap of Muzaffarpur 21-17, 21-14 at Indoor Stadium in Khagaria on Tuesday.
However, in the boys U-13 doubles Md Asadulla combining with Kavya Kashyap won the title beating Pranjal Veer and Yash Bharti (MUzaffarpur and Katihar) 21-04, 21-04.
Sulekha Kumari of Patna clinched the girls U-13 title defeating Tanvie Arya of Patna 21-19, 21-10.
Srija of Patna won the girls U-15 singles crown defeating Somya Bharti of Katihar 21-13, 21-12.
Parag Singh of Munger won the boys U-15 singles title defeating Ishant Raj of Samastipur 21-14, 22-20.
Somya Bharti and Tanishk (Katihar and Khagaria) won the girls doubles title defeating Nazia Bano and Suhani Kumari (both Muzaffarpur) 21-16, 21-11.
Former Bihar minister and Bihar Badminton Association president Abdul Bari Siddiqui gave away the prizes.
