Patna: The new executive committee of the Wall Ball Association of Bihar held its meeting at the association’s office. During the meeting, former cricketer and convenor Arun Kumar Singh was unanimously elected as the president. Sanjay Kumar, Satish Kumar Raju, and Bipin Kumar were elected as vice presidents, while Rupal Kumar was elected as the general secretary. Pramod Kumar and Sanjeet Kumar were elected as joint secretaries, and Subhajit Sarkar and Monu Kumar were elected as assistant secretaries. Shikha Ji was elected as the treasurer.
Upon being elected as president, Arun Kumar Singh thanked everyone and discussed the new committee’s strategy for the development of wall ball in Bihar. He also announced that the Bihar team will participate in the Second National Wall Ball Championship, to be held from July 26 to July 28 in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, under the aegis of the Indian Wall Ball Association.
The Bihar team will be selected based on performance in a camp, which will be conducted at Holy Faith International School starting Monday, under the supervision of assistant secretary Sanjeet Kumar. After the camp, the selected team will depart for Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, on July 24 via the Magadh Express.
