Patna: The three-day annual sports festival of Kusumraj Maniam Public School, Moriwa (Patna) concluded on Wednesday on the school premises. The sport meet was oragnised under the aegis of Dr Rajdev Sharma Memorial Trust.
Cricket, kabaddi, chess, 100m and 200m race events were held in the finals of the sports festival. In the cricket final played between CB Raman and Shivaji House, CV Raman won by three runs. Raunak Kumar of class IX was adjudged the man of the match and man of the series.
CV Raman House won the kabaddi title beating Shivaji House by 36 points. Anubhuti Verma of Ashoka House defeated Raunak of Tagore House in the final of chess. In the 100m race, Saurabh Kumar (Class-2) stood first. In the senior’s 100m race, Rishika Kumari (Class-8) won the gold medal. In the senior’s 200 m race, Kislay Kant Pandey won the gold medal.
School chairman Dr Amarendra Kumar gave away the prizes. All the teachers including principal Pankaj Kumar Mishra were present on the occasion.
