Anisabad Cricket Club to Face NMCC in Indradev Rai Memorial Cricket Tournament Final

Patna: Anisabad Cricket Club will take on NMCC in the final of the Indradev Rai Memorial Cricket Tournament, being organised under the aegis of Kumar Club at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium, Patna. In the second semi-final, held on Tuesday, 7 January, NMCC defeated National AC by four wickets to secure their place in the final. The championship decider is scheduled for Wednesday, 10 January.

Former Industry Minister of the Bihar Government, Samir Kumar Mahaseth, will grace the final match as the chief guest, while former Mayor Shyam Babu Rai will attend as the special guest.

In the semi-final clash, National AC won the toss and opted to bat first, posting 135 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Deepu Kumar top-scored with 47 runs, while Suraj Kumar contributed 38. NMCC’s bowling unit, led by Alok Kumar and Kumar Shan, restricted the opposition effectively.

Chasing 136, NMCC reached the target in 18.3 overs, scoring 138 for six. Vikas Krishna anchored the innings with a solid 38 runs, while Rajesh Kumar remained unbeaten on 29 to guide his team to victory. Kumar Shan’s all-round performance (4 runs, 3 wickets) earned him the Player of the Match award, presented by Kumar Club Treasurer Anjani Kumar Sinha.
