Patna: Anisabad Cricket Club advanced to the final of the Indradev Rai Memorial Cricket Tournament after defeating LBS CC by three wickets in the first semi-final at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium. Anup Kumar’s unbeaten half-century was the cornerstone of Anisabad’s successful chase, securing their spot in the championship match.

Winning the toss, LBS CC chose to bat and posted a respectable total of 154 runs for 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Saubhagya Mishra was the standout performer with a brilliant 60 runs, supported by Yuvraj’s solid 43. The Anisabad bowling attack, led by Amrit Aditya with figures of 3 for 17, and Hariom Sharma with 2 for 22, kept the scoring in check despite 35 extras from LBS CC.

In response, Anisabad Cricket Club chased down the target with ease, finishing at 156 for 7 in just 17.1 overs. Anup Kumar remained unbeaten on 65, providing the stability and firepower needed to guide his team to victory. He was supported by a quick 39 runs from all-rounder Amrit Aditya. LBS CC’s bowling efforts were led by Hariom Sharma, who took 3 wickets for 30 runs, and Deepak Kumar, who claimed 2 for 27, but their efforts were not enough to halt Anisabad’s charge.

For his exceptional all-round performance, scoring 39 runs and taking 3 wickets, Anisabad’s Amrit Aditya was named Player of the Match. Former Patna Mayor Shyam Babu Rai presented the award.
