Patna, April 30: Rising Star CC registered a spectacular 102-run victory over Hercules CC in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League on the basis of a brilliant century by Animesh Kumar (153 runs), excellent bowling by Aditya Dhanraj (4 wickets) and Nishant Mohan (3 wickets). This was Animesh Kumar’s second century this season.
In the match played at the local Sampatchak Ground, Rising Star CC, after winning the toss and batting first, scored 323 runs for 8 wickets in 35 overs. Animesh Kumar scored 153 runs in 90 balls with the help of 19 fours and 8 sixes and Lalit Narayan Mishra scored 47 runs in 30 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. For Hercules CC, Ankit ji took 2 wickets for 39 runs.
In reply, Hercules CC team was all out for 221 runs in 30.4 overs. For Hercule CC, Neeraj Kumar scored 92 runs in 68 balls with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes. For Rising Star, Aditya Dhanraj took 4 wickets for 25 runs and Nishant Mohan took 3 wickets for 59 runs. Animesh of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
