Patna: A swashbuckling 83 not out off 78 balls by Assam captain Amontika Munda powered his side to post seven wickets victory over Bihar in Women’s Under 19 One Day Trophy organized by the BCCI at Vizzy Stadium in Vizianagaram here on Sunday.
Chasing 119 to win, Assam scored 120 for the loss of three wickets off 28 overs. Amontika smashed 14 boundaries and two sixes in her innings.
Earlier, Bihar were all out for 118 runs off 33.4 overs. For Bihar Vaidehi Yadab scored 30 runs and Mamta Kumari Patel scored 24 runs.
