Patna: The All India Under-12 Boys and Girls Ranking Tennis Tournament will be organised from 14th to 18th October under the aegis of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association and hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy. Providing this information, Satish Kumar, Tennis In-charge of Naseeb Sports Academy, stated that this tournament is recognised by the All India Tennis Association. He expressed gratitude to Akhouri Vishwadeep and Akhouri Vishwapriya, the Honorary Secretary and Joint Secretary of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association respectively, for giving the academy the opportunity to host this championship.
This is a Championship Series level tournament. All the main draw participants in this event will earn valuable national ranking points based on their performance, in accordance with the guidelines of the All India Tennis Association. Players from major states such as West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, and Bihar will be competing. In the boys’ category, Pratichi Basu from West Bengal is the top seed, while Pranaya Kashyap from Bihar leads in the girls’ category.
The preliminary round matches are scheduled for Monday, 14th October, with Tournament Director Satish Prasad, Head of Tennis at Naseeb Sports Academy, and Tournament Referee Rohit Kumar officiating the matches according to AITA guidelines.
