Patna: The All India Ranking Under-16 Boys/Girls Tennis Championship was inaugurated on Monday at the tennis court of the Naseeb Sports Academy. The tournament is being hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy under the aegis of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association. Pranjal Srivastava and Prabhakar Ranjan of Bihar won their respective matches on the first day. The tournament was inaugurated by Satish Kumar, the Tennis Director of the Academy, who introduced the players. The matches in the girls’ category will commence on 22nd October.

- Pranjal Srivastava (Bihar) defeated Utkarsh Sharma 6-4, 6-1
- Suvigya Chaudhary (Madhya Pradesh) defeated Shaurya Kant (Bihar) 6-3, 6-2
- Prabhakar Ranjan (Bihar) defeated Aarush Das (Assam) 6-3, 7-6(3)
