Bihar Sharif, June 2: Abhishek Raj’s (110 runs, 91 balls, 14 fours and 2 sixes) century and half-centuries from Ayush Kumar (64 runs, 60 balls, 10 fours), Pritam Raj (61 runs, 36 balls, 10 fours, 2 sixes) and Aadarsh Raj (52 not out, 46 balls, 4 fours, 2 sixes) helped Gaya defeat Sheikhpur by 153 runs in the Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament.
Gaya won the toss in this match played at the local Nalanda Cricket Ground and batting first, scored a huge score of 317 runs for four wickets in 40 overs. Gaya’s top-four batsmen batted brilliantly and Sheikhpura’s bowlers failed in front of them. Sheikhpura used a total of 8 bowlers in which four bowlers Ashish, Sunny, Sachin and Akarsh took 1 wicket each.
