Patna: Ryan Mohammed, who returned after winning the Asian Chess Championship held in Sri Lanka, was accorded a grand welcome on his arrival in Patna today. Ryan, who returned to Patna after a long time after playing National Under-13 in Pondicherry and FIDE Championship in Mumbai after winning in Colombo, was welcomed by All Bihar Chess Association office bearers, chess players and Ryan’s family members at Patna airport.
All Bihar Chess Association secretary Dharmendra Kumar, vice president Prabhat Kumar, senior player Sudhir Kumar Sinha along with Ryan’s parents were present on the occasion.
