Patna: Under the joint auspices of MVP Chess Club, Patna and Bihar Vidyapeeth (DRPSPM), Patna, the 4th Balkeshwar Prasad Memorial Open Chess Championship will be organised from December 5 to December 7 at Deshratna Bhawan, Bihar Vidyapeeth here. The tournament is recognised by All Bihar Chess Association.
Giving this information, Organising secretary-cum-senior national arbiter Ved Prakash said that the men and women who get the top six positions in this championship will be awarded the main prize (main trophy), while the top three boys and girls of Under-8, Under-10, Under-12, Under-14 age group will be honoured with special prizes.
