Patna: On the second day of the Bihar State Sub Junior Ranking Badminton Championship being played at the Indoor Stadium in Chitragupt Nagar (Khagaria), the players of Khagaria showed an impressive game.
Bihar Badminton Association (BBA) secretary KN Jaiswal said that till now the players have performed disciplined and enthusiastic game, we congratulate the players that they are performing the best game.
Secretary of Khagaria District Badminton Association (KDBA), Dr Jainendra Kumar said that players of Patna, Munger, Khagaria, Samastipur districts have performed well in this tournament so far. KDBA treasurer Rajesh Kumar Gupta said that from the second day itself, the game has reached an exciting phase, in the next two days there will be more tough matches and unexpected results can also come.
Dr. Prem Kumar, Aman Kumar Sinha, Dr. H. Prasad, Sanjeev Prakash, Dr. Shailendra Kumar, Dr. Kumar Deepak, Dr. Nagmani Nandan, Dr. Narendra, Randhir Singh, Rakesh Ranjan, Abhishek Raj, Prem Kumar were present during second day’s match.
Chief match referee Mithilesh Kumar said that in U-13 Ashdullah, Ishant Raj, Aryan Sinha, Priyanshu, and Kavya Kashyap won their matches and made it to the quarter-finals, while in U-13 girls category. Soumya Bharti, Parineeta Randhir, Sulekha Kumari and Suhani entered the quarter-finals by winning their matches.
In the U-15 boys’ category Ashdullah and Ishant Raj have performed well, along with Saksham Vats, Parag Singh entered the quarter-finals by winning their matches.
In the Under-15 girls’ category, Janvi Dugar, Tanishka Randhir Shivangi Kumari, Garima Shree Swayam Prabha Anshika Arya won their matches and reached the quarterfinals.
