Patna: The Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) have booked their place in the final of the Akhilesh Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament, defeating Jaguar Cricket Academy by nine wickets at the CAB ground on Friday.
Jaguar Cricket Academy, having won the toss, opted to bat first and managed to post 140 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 25 overs. In response, CAB chased down the target with ease, reaching 141 runs for the loss of just one wicket in 20 overs.
The match saw Reserve Bank of India (Patna) General Manager Prabhat Kumar, Manager Rajiv Ranjan, and Ranji player Kamlesh Singh present to motivate the young cricketers. Shivam Samrat was adjudged Player of the Match for his stellar all-round performance.
