Patna: In the first quarter-final of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, Triumphant Cricket Academy defeated Basawan Park Cricket Academy by six wickets to advance to the semi-finals.
In another pre-quarter-final match, Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) Red beat Rana Cricket Academy by nine wickets, securing their place in the quarter-finals.
In the first quarter-final match hosted by the Cricket Academy of Bihar, Triumphant Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Basawan Park Cricket Academy posted a total of 147 runs for eight wickets in 25 overs, with Aditya scoring 47 runs. In response, Triumphant Cricket Academy chased down the target, scoring 148 runs for four wickets in 21 overs, thanks to Uttam’s 56-run innings. Aditya (26 runs, 3 wickets) from the winning team was awarded the Rize Coaching Player of the Match by Indradeep Chandravanshi, a member of the Patna Municipal Corporation Empowered Committee.
