Patna: Arv Deep of Bihar created a sensation in the boys’ category of the All India Ranking Under-12 Boys/Girls Tennis Championship, organised under the aegis of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association and hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy. He advanced to the semi-finals by defeating the top seed, Ayushman Pathak of Uttar Pradesh, in the boys’ singles quarter-final match. Arv Deep is the only player from Bihar to reach the semi-finals in the boys’ category.
In the girls’ category, all four players who made it to the semi-finals are from Bihar. Pranay Kashyap, Aashi Sharma, Paridhi Thakur, and Shivangi S of Bihar secured their places by defeating their respective opponents.
