Patna: Bihar defeated Mizoram by 41 runs in the Women’s U-19 T20 Tournament at Chennai’s SSN Ground. After winning the toss and batting first, Bihar scored 94 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, while Mizoram were all out after scoring 53 runs in 15.5 overs.
For Bihar, Ananya Tiwari scored 15 runs, Akshara Gupta scored 23 runs, Khushboo Kumari scored 12 runs. For Mizoram, Jothan Sangi and Margaret took two wickets each and Marthy and Sandia took one wicket each.
In reply, Sandia scored 11 runs, Jakita scored 6 runs, Swamtluyangi scored 9 runs, Karia scored 5 runs for Mizoram. For Bihar, Julie took 4 wickets, Baby Rosie took 2 and Khushi and Ananya took one wicket each. Bihar will against Baroda on October 6 in the next match.
