Patna: A Kabaddi tournament was held on Thursday to celebrate National Sports Day at Dev Kabaddi Academy, Devnagari (Nathupur, Dumri, Fatuha). The event was organised by the Bihar State Janata Dal (United) Art, Culture, and Sports Cell, and the Barh Subdivision Kabaddi Team claimed victory.
In a closely contested final, the Barh Subdivision Kabaddi Team edged out the Dev Kabaddi Team with a score of 31-29.
In earlier matches, Dev Kabaddi Academy defeated Pataliputra Kabaddi Academy 35-31, while Barh Subdivision Kabaddi Team secured a convincing win against Danapur Subdivision Kabaddi Team, finishing 39-25.
The awards were presented by Kumar Vijay Singh, State President of the Janata Dal (U) Art, Culture, and Sports Cell, Bihar, alongside Rana Uday Singh, Vice President of Barh District Janata Dal (U). Several notable figures, including Rana Ranjit Singh and Subhash Prasad, also attended the event.
