Patna: The Kho-Kho Federation of India has selected Bihar once again to host the Khelo India National Sub-Junior and Junior Women’s Kho-Kho League.
Neeraj Kumar Pappu, Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, announced the news based on a letter from MS Tyagi, General Secretary of the Kho-Kho Federation of India. Pappu highlighted that the successful organization of the East Zone Khelo India Women’s Kho-Kho League by the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar in the previous session has led to this continued trust and responsibility.
The Khelo India National Sub-Junior and Junior Women’s Kho-Kho League is slated for the third week of December. The tournament will feature 24 teams from 12 states, each team consisting of 18 members: 15 players, one female coach, one assistant coach, and one support staff. The host state is tasked with providing food, accommodation, and local transport for the participating teams.
Pappu also mentioned that an organizing committee will soon be formed to finalize the venue and date, after which preparations will commence immediately.
