Kilkari Warriors beat Panthers in the first match
Patna, May 11: The first Kilkari Ball Badminton Premier League under the aegis of Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhawan, Patna started on Saturday at the Ball Badminton Court located in Kilkari. In the first match of the league, Kilkari Warriors equipped with national players defeated Kilkari Panthers in two consecutive sets by 35-29,35-27. In the second match, Kilkari Lions defeated Kilkari Giants 35-25,35-28.
Earlier, the three-day Ball Badminton Premier League was formally inaugurated by Bihar Ball Badminton Association Secretary Gouri Shankar after getting introduced to the players. The guests were welcomed by Kilkari coordinator Ved Prakash and vote of thanks was proposed by coach Rahul Kumar. On this occasion, Joint Secretary of Bihar Ball Badminton Association Mitali Mitra, Secretary of Patna District Ball Badminton Association Dr Arun Dayal, senior national players Prabhat Rana, Saurabh Suman and many sports lovers were present. Tomorrow, the boys doubles and mixed doubles matches of the league will be played from 6.30 am, while the fives competition of the league will start from 3.00 pm.
