Jhajha: Banka defeated Lakhisarai by 128 runs in the fourth match of Angika Zone of Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Tournament being played at Railway Chandwari Ground, Jhajha, Jamui.
Batting first, Banka scored 274 runs losing all the wickets in 47.1 overs. Shivam contributed 83 runs, Vineet contributed 35 runs, Vikrant contributed 34 runs.
For Lakhisarai, Aryan and Ankit Raj took 3 wickets each.
Lakhisarai’s team, which came to chase 274 runs, could score only 146 runs in 39.4 overs. Babul Arya contributed 65 runs and Manjeet contributed 18 runs. Banka’s Vikrant took 4 wickets and Aditya took 3 wickets. Thus, Banka won the match by 128 runs.
